Contemporary Worship Band
The Contemporary Worship Team leads musical worship in the Contemporary Worship Service. It consists of drums, bass guitar, electric and acoustic guitars, and several vocalists. Selections of music are from contemporary worship artists such as Chris Tomlin, Mac Powell, Tim Hughes, and Mark Roach. We also do modern arrangements of some excellent hymns; and original works from the band are included in our repertoire. Meet the band.

Sound/Media Coordinators
The Sound and Media Coordinators are an essential part of both the Contemporary and Classic worship experiences. Together they oversee the sound board and media display, and make congregational participation possible during various times in the services. They are closely entwined with the Contemporary Worship Band, and information on joining this group is available here.

Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is the adult choir who leads worship in the Classic Worship Service. We sing from an excellent library of Introits and Anthems, as well as lead the congregation in timeless hymns of faith each Sunday. All teens and adults are welcome. Check out the Chancel Choir page.

Special Music
This area of worship ministry involves special offerings of musical worship on behalf of the congregation by a soloist or small ensemble. If you are interested in special music, please contact me, the Worship Arts Leader, at andy@cbcspringfield.org.

Communion Teams
Communion, also known as the Lord's Supper, is celebrated once a month and is orchestrated by three teams.

House of Worship Design Team
This team is in charge of designing and decorating the sanctuary for special services, such as Christmas and Easter. To join this team, contact Bob Mitchell.

Worship Service Facilitators
The Worship Service Facilitators play an important role in both the Classic and Contemporary worship services. They greet people coming to worship, and oversee and carryout other congregational worship opportunities, such as giving. To join the Worship Service Facilitators in the Classic Worship Service, contact Mike Large. For the Contemporary Worship Service, contact Dave Law.

Drama Team
CBC has a great history of drama, as well as some of the best dramatic talent in Springfield! We have a Drama Team who can practice and prepare everything from short sketches illustrating a point in the worship service to full scale productions.
