Children's Focus Groups

Focus groups are a time for children to engage in small groups to dig deeper into the morning Bible story. What they learned about during the previous hour in Kids 2:52 is expanded upon in a more open setting. Focus groups begin before worship and last until the completion of the contemporary service. We have three different classes for children:
Pre-kindergarten class is for children who are 3 or 4 years old.
K-1st class is for children who are either in kindergarten or 1st grade.
2nd-5th is for children who are in 2nd-5th grades. All of the classrooms are located on the second floor.

Adult Sunday School
There are many classes and opportunities for Bible study and learning on Sunday mornings. The following is a list of the class name, description, and room number. Anyone is welcome at any class any time. The descriptions are meant as a guide.

Builder's Class - Merriam Hall, lower level
Mature adults, ages 60 and over

About Women Class - room 20, lower level
Females of all ages, prime of their lives

Zimmerman Class - room 21, lower level
Mainly couples, 50 and over

Prayer Closet - Brides room, back of Merriam Hall
Takes place at 9, 10, and 11 a.m. All prayerful hearts are welcome.

Herb Taylor Class - Weber Lounge, room 113, first floor
Senior adults. This class was started as a newlywed class for WWII veterans.

Discerning Ambassadors Class - room 207, second floor
Mostly couples with children

Keep It Alive Class - room 208, second floor
All ages Bible study

Christian Family Ties - room 306, third floor
Singles and couples, 30-50's.

JOY (Jesus - Others - You) Class - room 307, third floor
A class for people with developmental disabilities led by a group of participants from our church.

Doby Class - room 302, third floor
Couples 45 and over - the generation "sandwiched" between the needs of youth adult children and aging parents.

Short-term classes - locations to be announced
Adults of all ages. Check the Sunday flier and the church newsletter for information as new classes become available.
